Jonathan Day

Over the past couple of months, Liam has been developing in leaps and bounds. He is now repeating words he hears after the first time, even multiple syllable ones like “blueberry” and “football” with extreme clarity. On October 15th, he jumped with both feet leaving the ground.

Unfortunately, half an hour ago, I had to put Liam in time out because he dumped the dog’s water. After a minute in time out, Liam said, “Tay, Tay”, meaning okay, okay, can I get out now. I kept him in time out a little longer and so he moved on to saying “please daddy, please daddy, please daddy”. I then said, “Are you going to behave?” He shook his head yes and so I let him out of time out. It was extremely adorable!

Liam has also been a wonderful brother. He brings Daneel a pacifier when he cries, rubs his head, plays with his hands and feet, and plays with him. Liam is a little rough, but boys will be boys!

Daneel has been sleeping so well the first 3-4 weeks. Praise God! He only wakes up every 3-4 hours for feeding and sleeps almost every minute of the day. He is now starting to be awake a little more during the day. Jess has also reported a few minutes ago that he smiled for the first time.
