After the first night of vacation in Virginia, Liam has not been sleeping through the night. I think he misses his crib because I know I miss my bed! But it’s awesome that both families are so helpful staying up with him to help Jess and me. I am so glad for the extra hands! Last night, Liam slept from about 10 to midnight. Then he was no longer interested in sleeping without being held. Jess stayed with him until 4:45am. And after Jess nursed him, I took over. I brought him into the den so I could take advantage of the recliners. However, Liam had one requirement before he would sleep. He needed to place his left hand on my face. I tried gently to bring his hand down to his side, but he respectfully disagreed with my decision by placing his hand back on my face. After two hours, my dad took over until he was ready to eat breakfast. And for breakfast my dad fed him an oatmeal/formula/plum concoction that Jess and I started him on yesterday.
