This weekend I am trying to finish the rough draft version of most of my dissertation chapters.  I told Professor Dion I would have five chapters in rough draft form to him by Monday.

We tried Liam on avocado today!  He liked it!  We mashed up about two tablespoons in a bowl and added about four table spoons of breast milk.  You could tell he was sensing a different flavor and texture.  He held the first couple of bites on his tongue for a few seconds before swallowing.

I thought for sure I had registered for spring semester classes a few months ago.  Turns out, I didn’t.  So on Monday I had the department send in my registration paper work.  I called today – the Registrar still had not received my registration paper work from campus mail.  Jess had to come home during lunch so I could go to school and hand deliver the paper work.  I also signed the contract from Western Illinois University and mailed it today.  And I paid a couple of bills and put away some dishes.  Lots of busy work today.

Jessica wanted me to shave my face – it had been a few days.  So I let her shave my face for me – it’s something she enjoys doing.  I have to keep from laughing sometimes because she often sticks her tongue out while she is doing it.

Liam has been enjoying the new experience over the last two weeks with rice cereal and milk.  Tomorrow we are going to start him on avocado!  Here is a video of me feeding Liam:

Liam has been grabbing my face with both hands this past week.  This has been a new development.  He is also getting very skilled in his exersaucer.

I have now received the contract from Western Illinois University.   God is Great!
