Monday, December 21st, 2009Well in a season where you have only won three games so far, back to back wins is really sweet! Especially beating the Steelers. I believe it has been 6 years since we last beat our arch rivals.

Jerome Harrison ran for 286 yards (3rd most in NFL history for a single game). He broke Jim Brown’s team record for Cleveland of 237 yards.

It looks like Mike Holmgren is going to be coming to Cleveland!
The start of winter break!
Monday, December 21st, 2009Last night, God blessed me with getting the grading done for the Presidency Class (Praise God!). That means I have exactly four weeks starting from tomorrow to concentrate on my dissertation and taking care of the house.

This past week Liam has been eating more than usual and more frequently. He is definitely on one of his growth spurts. The last major growth spurt was late October/early November where in a two week period he gained 2 pounds and four ounces (he went from 12 pounds 8 ounces to 15 pounds 12 ounces) and grew an inch.

As of two days ago, our rough estimate is that he is about 17 pounds and 26 inches.
Liam’s new development
Saturday, December 19th, 2009Today, Jess put a toy in Liam’s hand. For the first time Liam brought the toy to his mouth (usually he puts his hand in his mouth with the toy still in that hand).

Scatterbrain: a forgetful person; someone who is mentally disorganized*.
Saturday, December 19th, 2009After grading many papers for the presidency, I temporarily become scatterbrained. I think my mind is so focused on the task of grading that afterward it has trouble connecting back to the real world.
