Well, we visited Macomb for a second time this week to look at rental properties. We viewed six different properties, but so far we haven’t quite found what we are looking for.

Some pictures of our trip:

One of our favorite places to eat:
. .
The building where the political science offices are located: Morgan Hall
Today, Liam grabbed his foot for the first time that I have seen. Then, when I was doing motor boat on his stomach, he grabbed my ear really hard and tried to pull it into his mouth. He is a funny boy that loves to laugh!
Today, the entire family is heading down to Macomb, IL. We are checking out the town this weekend where God is leading us to live next.
Praise God! We made it safely to Macomb. For all you Southerners, the locals here pronounce Macomb as: muh-kohm. (to hear it pronounced go to: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/macomb)
For the most part the roads were clear with a couple of rough patches of low visibility. We met with Rick Hardy, the department chair, for about an hour at the hotel. He was very nice in giving suggestions about the area.
Our next stop was Vitale’s, a very nice italian restaurant.
.
.
We also saw a house full of Christmas lights.
.
.
We also visited the Wal-Mart SuperCenter. We picked up a few items, such as some Western Illinois University apparel.
.
Jessica is preparing for tomorrow’s adventure by mapping out where we should visit in Macomb.

.
This is proof that Liam’s favorite phrase is: The Moose is Loose.
.
.
In the morning, we went to the Sunrise Family Restaurant. It’s a mom and pop version of IHOP.
.
We didn’t take as many pictures as we would have liked. The first picture is Sherman Hall, one of the main buildings of Western Illinois University. The second picture is Macomb’s public library.
